HOW WE
DECIDE
WHO'S IN
Our vetting process is what makes the Labelr network worth being part of. Here's exactly what we look for — and what disqualifies an application.
THE SIX
CRITERIA
We want to see real work delivered for real clients — not personal projects or spec work. Portfolio samples, case studies, or client references that demonstrate consistent, professional output.
Contractors must have meaningful experience working within or alongside agencies. This means understanding briefs, revisions, client confidentiality, and delivery under someone else's brand.
We assess written communication from the application itself. Clarity, professionalism, and responsiveness are non-negotiable. Agencies don't have time to chase contractors for updates.
Can this person work invisibly under another brand? We specifically evaluate how applicants handle client-facing situations, confidentiality, and representing an agency's brand as their own.
Late delivery in a white label context reflects on the agency, not the contractor. We look for evidence of consistent on-time delivery and honest communication when timelines are at risk.
Agency work involves feedback cycles. We look for contractors who handle revisions professionally — not defensively — and who see feedback as part of the delivery process, not an attack on their work.
HOW REVIEW
ACTUALLY WORKS
Applicants complete a thorough application covering their background, agency experience, white label approach, portfolio links, and how they define agency-standard work. The quality of this application is the first data point.
Applications are reviewed by a rotating panel of active agency owners — people who currently hire and manage white label contractors. They assess against all six criteria using their real-world experience as the benchmark.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited for a 20-minute call with one of our reviewers. This isn't a formal interview — it's a conversation to understand how they work and confirm the picture presented in their application.
Applicants receive a clear outcome. Approved contractors are listed immediately. Declined applicants receive honest feedback and can reapply after 90 days if they've addressed the gaps identified.
